Food and Fabulous Fellowship for All!

On November 23, 2008 MCC Santa Rosa served 89+ people from the surrounding area. We had a large group of homeless and many from Interlink. Some were elderly and infirmed. MCCSR members & friends were touched by the thankfulness of the people we served that day. Many, who do not always know when their next meal would be, but that day knew, they would have a nice meal at 3pm. MCCSR were able to serve them and give them seconds and take home meals. Something that they knew does not happen frequently. The warmth and gratitude was evident on the smiling faces.

There are already plans, lists and ideas floating around for next year, when we may plan for 2 shifts of dinners. God stretched our planned food of serving 75 meals to over 130 meals served. Praise God!
