  MCC of Santa Rosa is in a time of renewal, a time in which we are reimagining ourselves. What are we doing to make a difference in the lives of those we serve? What are we doing to create a sense of rejoicing in the lives of not just our members but in the life of our community? When we made the decision to change our name, it was a movement toward renewal and recommitment. I am excited by the enthusiasm that this simple action has created.  

 It’s a new day, a new path a time of regeneration. Many see Fall as a season in which we look at things dying, things going dormant until Spring comes. I would submit to you that this Fall is a time of renewal, recommitment, a time of rejoicing. As we watch the leaves fall remember that these leaves will help to feed the plants throughout the winter so that come Spring, those same flowers will come forth bright and beautiful for all to see and admire.

May this season of renewal bring to you the joy of Christ and may the Holy Spirit sustain you throughout the changes that will take place within you. Change is good and necessary even when we really don’t want to change. Let the Spirit of Christ take control and see what the Lord will do with and for you. W
